At 5:55 a.m., security footage showed the person abandoning the four gray and white kittens on the front porch of the Plainfield Area Humane Society. Staff brought the kittens in, described as "scared and cold", the Plainfield Area Humane Society said.

The kittens were placed on a heating pad and fed breakfast, the Plainfield Area Humane Society said. Anyone with information on who the person is should contact Animal Control at 908-753-0300 or  contact@pahs.org
